I really love coming to Belly Bandit—I’ve been here several times and it never disappoints. The restaurant is located in Menteng, in a very calm and peaceful spot. The service is always warm and friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious. Another plus: reservations for fewer than 6 people are free of charge, which makes it easy to drop by with friends or family. Definitely one of my favorite go-to places in Menteng!

Out of all the menus I ordered, I highly recommend the grilled cheese sandwich cuz the sourdough was the beeesst. My boyfriend is an everything-flour enthusiast and he also loved it. The tanginess from tomato soup enhanced the overall flavor. Hash was a nice surprise. Burger was just okay for me, but loved the fluffy bun. The taste is very American I would say (never went there tho). If you’re looking for a break from food that is too heavy or “terlalu berasa” (like Indonesian food with all its flavor and spices), this is it. The place was very comfortable, great for nongkrong, and the service was lovely. Def will come back soon!

An open air restaurant which serves western style menu. It can be hot during dry season in jakarta, and you'd be drenched in sweat amidst sweltering heat. The menu encompassing entree, main menu and desserts with price ranging from 100K - 250K per person, including light drinks. Service is good and efficient although a reservation is advised during lunch hours

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Friendly and Happy Staff Nice clean interior , Fast WiFi , cold Air Con Plenty of seating out/indoors 5/5 California Burger USA pastrami with 2 x smash burger with Cole slaw and soft burger bun. Pastrami was legit. Tender slow cooked texture with the right amount of smokiness. The patties were juicy. It was in the saltier side, but the Slaw smoothed out the saltiness. Excellent burger 5/5 Roasted carrots with miso and tahini sauce. Topped with pommigrant , pistachios and feta cheese . Interesting array of savoriness in a good way. Tried this place out of curiosity for their US-style pastrami sandwich — a rare find in Jakarta. I was intrigued to see how they would present it. The space itself is cozy, ideal for working or studying. They’ve repurposed an old Menteng house while preserving its original architecture, surrounded by lush trees and greenery that help offset Jakarta’s harsh midday sun. The pastrami sandwich did not disappoint: soft on the inside, perfectly crisp on the outside. The chips were authentic, and while the tartar sauce could use a bit more punch, it still worked well. We also tried the Bandit Corned Beef Hash — a delightful mix of crispy potatoes and what seemed like homemade corned beef. Flavorful without being overly salty, just the right balance. Overall, a pleasant spot that offers a unique and enjoyable experience. Opening as early as 7 AM is definitely a plus — perfect for anyone looking for a grab-and-go option before work or after a morning workout!

We got the wagyu pastrami, funnel cake, chicken wings, chocolate milkshake, and lemon coffee and they all hit the spot! Delicious! Looking forward to return and try more options on the menu. Crowded on weekends but it didn't take long to find a table. If you want to sit inside, better to make a reservation ahead otherwise you'll only be getting a spot outside (which is fine).
